Sports and fitness have always been a part of my life from 12 years of age. I’ve always admired coaches who could set the atmosphere but also push you to your fullest potential. I played football for UTSA in college. My position was linebacker so the gym was very important, as well as working on speed. One of my highlights in football was when our team played against Kansas State in the Alamodome. The stadium was electric and I had a good game against a top-ranked school.
In our weakness, we are made strong. In 2018 I was dealing with depression, anxiety, and sleep deprivation. My mind was idle and I realized I was in a fight for my life. I fought hard but the strongest thing I did was stop, yield, give up control, and allow God to give me strength. Now my mind has been better than ever. I’m healthier than I have ever been, and sleeping well.
My purpose for coaching is to go alongside you in your journey, to pull out the warrior inside of you, and help you see that you can do this.
